Britt Wright, MBA is a seasoned brand and business leader with over 15 years of experience driving growth across brand strategy, marketing, sales, and operations. He has held leadership roles at Nestlé and Altria Group, Inc., and currently serves as Director of Strategy & Brand at Culture Brands—a Maryland-based conglomerate with verticals in advertising, consumer packaged goods, and media.
In his current role, Britt leads African American Brand & Research Strategy for Hyundai Motor America, directing national marketing initiatives grounded in data, cultural insight, and performance. He also supports brand and business strategy for Culture Brands’ affiliate companies, including The Happy Hues Co., an emerging baby essentials company with mass market distribution, and IYKYK Games, a portfolio of culturally inspired tabletop games distributed across mass retail channels. Throughout his career, Britt has managed multimillion-dollar P&Ls and brand portfolios, with responsibility spanning forecasting, pricing, product development, and retail expansion.
Known for combining analytical rigor with creative vision, Britt has a proven ability to translate consumer insights into integrated strategies that build cultural relevance and business value. He operates at the intersection of culture and commerce—delivering campaigns, innovations, and partnerships that connect deeply with today’s consumers while driving measurable business outcomes.
Britt earned his Bachelor’s degree in Journalism from George Mason University and a Master of Business Administration from the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland. He also serves as an adjunct professor in the Design Leadership MA/MBA program, offered jointly by the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) and the Johns Hopkins Carey School of Business, where he teaches the course Forecasting and Realizations. Britt is a proud member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. and was recognized as a “Top 30 Under 30” by 93.9 WKYS in 2016 and a “Top 40 Under 40” by George Mason University’s Black Alumni Chapter in 2019.
