As the CEO of Black Meta Agency, Howard R. Jean leads a mission-driven organization dedicated to empowering 1,000,000 Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) women and citizens to excel in the ever-evolving emerging technology industry. So far, they’ve impacted over 150,000 community members nationwide. Founded in Virginia, Black Meta Agency’s services include technology strategic partnership development, emerging tech workforce development, and multicultural technology event production. His agency also helps businesses integrate AI solutions into their business infrastructure. Black Meta Agency uses virtual reality and AI to solve many challenges in the workforce development industry. His agency serves as an advisor to over a dozen tech startups nationwide.
Jean is the Events Chair and co-founded the Greater Washington Black Chamber of Commerce. He co-chairs the Engineering and technology hub for the Universities at Shady Grove in MD and is a Board of Advisors Member. Jean is also an Executive Council Chair for the Black Professional International Alliance, Vice Chair for Success for College Foundation, IT Advisory Council Member for the DC Workforce Investment Council, and Board Member for Paige One Foundation in Alexandria, VA.
Jean has received numerous accolades and more recently the 2023 Power 50 Under 40 by the US Black Chambers, Inc., sponsored by Wal-Mart, the 2024 Champion of the Culture Award recipient for The Gathering Spot where he’s a founding member, and the recipient of the 2024 STEM Trailblazer Award from the DMV Alumni Chapter for Claflin University, a South Carolina HBCU.

Jean holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Education from Claflin University and a Master of Science degree in Education in Social and Philosophical Foundations from Troy University. Howard is a resident of Arlington, VA.
