“Michele Dugar is a business educator and practitioner specializing in marketing, entrepreneurship, and creative problem-solving. Her entrepreneurial journey includes serving as a femtech founder, launching an award-winning consulting firm, and launching lines of children’s products.

She has over 25 years of teaching experience as a business professor at the University of South Carolina and Benedict College. At Benedict, she led the college’s student consulting agency, where students engaged with clients including Wolters Kluwer and the YMCA of the USA.

Dugar has leveraged her expertise to support small businesses, nonprofits, and national corporations through consulting, training, and entrepreneurial education. As a certified entrepreneurship instructor working with organizations such as AARP and the Urban League, she has guided entrepreneurs in launching and growing their ventures. She also served as an SBA Business Center Advisor. As a marketing consultant, her award-winning marketing work includes strategic planning and creative campaigns for clients such as Wachovia Mortgage and The Salvation Army.

Her work continues to focus on advancing entrepreneurial education and supporting individuals and organizations in developing the mindset and capabilities needed to innovate and grow.”
