“Rashada Houston Turner, MBA, is a dynamic educator, financial fitness coach, and business strategist committed to advancing economic empowerment through education, innovation, and action. She currently serves as an Associate Instructor in Florida A&M University’s School of Business and Industry, where she has been teaching since 2007. She teaches Strategic Management, the capstone course for graduating Business students, and she is recognized for her engaging, real-world approach to preparing the next generation of leaders.
She began her career and developed her competitive and strategic muscle with The Florida Legislature’s research office in 2000 (OPPAGA). She broke historical barriers to become the office’s first and only black manager and the youngest. During her 11-year tenure, she helped create positive change that is still making an impact today.
Mrs. Turner has almost 15 years of experience coaching case competition teams. She has guided students to win nearly $500,000 in over 20 competitions, and partnered with several global brands such as Amazon, KIND, L’Oréal, and Chevron. She most recently co-advised a team to win 1st place out of 30 teams at the HBCU Entrepreneurship & Innovation case competition. Her commitment to building success extends beyond the classroom through her leadership in experiential learning, including directing initiatives like Lemonade Day Tallahassee, which introduces youth to entrepreneurship and financial literacy.
In addition to her academic work, Mrs. Turner is the founder of TruDream Business Solutions LLC, where she helps entrepreneurs strengthen their financial foundations and leverage strategy for sustainable growth. As a Certified AI Consultant, she helps organizations ethically integrate AI into their systems to improve profitability and increase productivity.
